I will be posting Christmas season outfit inspiration Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri of this week (with Style Imitating Art on Wed).
Green outfit idea posts: green + black, bright green, dark green.
Red Christmas outfit idea posts from last week: red + black part 1, red + black part 2, red sweaters/tops/vests, red skirts/dresses/pants.
Today's focus is on shades of olive green: moss, sage, fern, aloe vera, asparagus, army green, tea green, laurel green...all the green colors with a soft, muted quality.
Green is a great Christmas color that doesn't have to be paired with black to be effective. Other neutrals, semi-neutrals, and accent colors can work well in a green holiday season outfit. Use green as a dominant color or as a pop of color against a neutral background. Incorporate seasonal textures like suede, velvet, faux fur, tweed, leather, and sweater knits...or not. Go all-in with touches of red and/or Christmas motif prints/jewelry or keep the nod to the season more subtle.
Here are 19 outfits from my previous OOTD with olive green suitable across a range of temperatures/weather and occasions for some Christmas season outfit inspiration. (Of course this color works outside the holiday season, too...so pin any outfits for future inspiration.)

Do you wear olive green in the winter? How do you like to wear it?
Blogs I link up with are listed here.
Wind has a "Neat Fonts" meters first reference 5512 in his collection, as seen in Reference Points on the Rolex Submariner. But more recently, the Submariner he wears most is this Tudor Submariner, which is called a hybrid model. "It was the basis link for the Black Bay link Fifty-Eight," Wind observes, "in that it has more of a traditional Submariner dial with circular link lume plots and rectangular lume plots and a Snowflake hand."
Your bracelet stacks and scarves add so much interest to your outfits that feature the olive green color. I especially like the amber, salmon, and coral hues in your accessories against the olive green in your apparel pieces. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 46.

I like the way you use your accessories, it makes the same outfit look different, adds texture, colours and vibe. Great collection, Sally. Anna

It is amazing how olive green seems to go with everything. I especially love how it contrasts with pinks and yellows too. XOXO Jodie
